De Donatis Gaya 5ASC The 2030 Agenda The 2030 Agenda is a plan of action, was adopted on 25 September 2015 by Heads of State and Government at a special UN summit, that is an important meeting, where they decided to meet and to considered 17 goals (SDGs) and 169 targets (that is details of the goal), for example about education, gender equality, climate, poverty, financial situation to reach by 2030. The 2030 Agenda is also an universal call, called‘universal’ because it implies all the countries in the word, and is a commitment to abolish poverty and to obtain sustainable development by 2030 because they want to trasform our world. In June 2012, in Rio de Janeiro, Governments decided to develop global Sustainable Development Goals, also including issues such as how to manage natural resources. The reports of the Open Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals and the Intergovernmental Committee of Experts on Sustainable Development Financing formed the Agenda package to working with major groups and the most important stakeholders.
